200 hrs Yoga teacher training course in Goa India

Daily Schedule 

​1. Develop advanced physical and mental practice in Vinyasa Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga amidst the breathtaking Himalayan landscapes.

2. Deepen understanding and experience of Pranayama and Mantra in the tranquil surroundings of the Himalayas.

3. Explore yogic philosophy in more depth, drawing inspiration from the spiritual energy of the Himalayan region.

4. Enhance knowledge of Yoga Anatomy and its application to teaching, influenced by the majestic Himalayan environment.

5. Expand practice by exploring different styles and disciplines of Yoga amidst the serene beauty of the Himalayas.

6. Refine Meditation skills for relaxation and concentration, harnessing the Himalayan calmness and spirituality.

7. Foster individual yoga journeys and growth in the Himalayan foothills, surrounded by the natural wonders of the region.

8. Cultivate confidence and teaching skills for modern society, infused with the wisdom of the Himalayan traditions.

9. Master the art of clear demonstration and instruction against the backdrop of the Himalayan landscape.

10. Teach proper alignment, hands-on adjustments, and prevent injuries, guided by the Himalayan yoga principles.

11. Instruct jumping transitions in Vinyasa Flow with the Himalayan mountains as a source of inspiration.

12. Explain Pranayama's benefits and teach Kriya Yoga, aligning with the spiritual essence of the Himalayas.

13. Demonstrate Mudras, Bandas, and their benefits, integrating Himalayan practices for holistic well-being

14. Introduce Ayurveda and principles for observing and teaching one-to-one and group classes, harmonizing with Himalayan teachings.

  • Holistic Healing in the Himalayas:
    Immerse yourself in the serene ambiance of the Himalayas for a true yogic experience. Engage in diverse activities like ecstatic dance, sauna sessions, and nature explorations, providing holistic rejuvenation.

  • Nature, Culture, and Relaxation:
    Connect with nature amidst the Himalayan peaks, explore scenic landscapes, and indulge in vibrant cultural experiences like market visits and mud baths. The Himalayan environment offers the perfect blend to recharge and reconnect with yourself.

  •  7-8 am: Mantra and Pranayama or Shatkarma (Cleansing Technique) amidst the serene Himalayan ambiance.

  • 8-9.30 am:Yoga Asana Practice (Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin) and Sound Healing, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Himalayas.

  • 9.30-10.30 am:Breakfast to nourish the body for the day ahead.

  • 10.30-12 am: Dive into Anatomy, Pranayama, Philosophy, or Ayurveda, drawing inspiration from the Himalayan teachings.

  • 12-1.30 pm: Adjustment and Alignment sessions, guided by the wisdom of Himalayan yoga principles.

  • 1.30-2.30 pm: Lunch, providing nourishment for the body and mind.

  • 2.30-4.00 pm: Engage in Self-care and Self-love practices, along with a Surprise class that aligns with Himalayan wellness.

  • 4-5.30 pm:Teaching Practice, honing your skills against the backdrop of the Himalayan mountains.

  • 5.30-7 pm:Beach Practice, Games, and Fun Activities, fostering a sense of community and joy amidst the Himalayan beauty.

  • 7-8 pm:Dinner, offering a delightful conclusion to the day's activities.

  • 10 pm: Lights Out, ensuring a peaceful night's rest in the Himalayan tranquility.

  • Saturday -Embark on special workshops, including Acroyoga, Abhyanga, and Sound Healing, enhancing your yogic experience amidst the Himalayan peaks.

  • Sundays:Enjoy a complete day of rest in the Himalayas, and kindly note that meals will not be provided on Sundays.

  • Note: The schedule can be subject to changes based on the group, weather conditions, and facilitators, ensuring flexibility in adapting to the Himalayan environment.

Welcome to Shiva Yoga Sanctuary Guidelines for a Harmonious Stay

As you embark on your transformative journey at Shiva Yoga, we want to ensure a tranquil and respectful environment for everyone. Please take note of the following guidelines to enhance your experience and uphold the sacred space we've created together:

1. Lights Out and Noise Control
   Lights will be turned off at 10 PM, and we kindly request a noise-free atmosphere thereafter.

2. Considerate Audio Use
   Use Bluetooth or headphones to enjoy music or videos, respecting the peaceful ambiance for fellow residents.

3. Dining Etiquette
   Refrain from eating inside the dormitory to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.

4. No Smoking or Drinking
   Smoking and drinking are strictly prohibited within the premises.

5. Behavior Standards
   Individuals misbehaving, disrespecting others, or violating the no-smoking and no-drinking policy may be promptly asked to leave.

6. Personal Belongings
   Take responsibility for your belongings; Shiva Yoga is not liable for lost items.

7. Washroom Hygiene
   Keep the washroom clean for the comfort of all residents.

8. Laundry Charges
   Laundry services incur extra charges.

9. Food Respect
   Avoid wasting food; it's self-service. Wash your plates and glasses after use.

10. Consent for Content Creation
    We value your consent for photos or videos. If uncomfortable, please inform us beforehand.

11. Communication Preferences
    Notify us in advance if you are uncomfortable with physical adjustments during asanas.

12. Mat Maintenance
    Clean and roll up your mats after each class for storage.

13. Shala Privacy
    Outsiders are not allowed inside the Shala premises. Engaging with them or forming close connections within Shiva Yoga premises is strictly prohibited.

14. Accommodation
    Accommodation is available only in twin-sharing and private rooms.

15. Attendance Requirement
    90% attendance is compulsory for the course, barring sickness.

16. Prohibited Conversations
    Discussing alcohol, drugs, or any substances around the Shala is strictly prohibited.

17. Curfew Timing
    If you leave, return before 10:30 PM.

18. Vegetarian Food Only
    Only vegetarian food is permitted within the yoga shala.

19. Respect for the Space
    This Shala was crafted with positive energy and love; please honor and respect the space.

20. Food Preferences
    Inform us of your food preferences (Vegan, Gluten-free, Lactose-free) for necessary arrangements.
